Camping allows you to visit places where few other travelers have been before. It allows you to meet authentic tribes and view incredible landscapes. We avoid busy campsites preferring wilder bush surroundings so you can be closer to the the scents and sounds of the spectacular African bush. All of our camps are setup in private exclusive locations.
Camping enables us to reach the most difficult places, but does not have to mean ‘roughing it’. Camping is a means of accessing these wilderness areas, and with high quality food and equipment, camping in a magical scenic location is a truly memorable experience. To get to these places you may have to give up some of your creature comforts, but it’s definitely worth the sacrifice.
We use 3x3m canvas tents which you can stand up and move around in, they allow for good air circulation and are furnished with:
- Twin camp beds,
- Rug and bedside table with lamp
- Camp chairs & table
- Hand wash basin
- Shaded annex and role up windows with mosquito netting
In some cases due to the difficulty in reaching particularly remote areas, or if we are using donkeys to transport the camp we use 3 person lightweight Lafuma hiking tents to give you a truly exclusive safari experience.
