Xmas from African Latitude

It was the 24th Dec and the Xmas bonus’s for African Latitude staff were piling up on my desk. I realised that signing the cheque for Siloam’s food this month was not enough. We needed to do more. Everyone in the office brought some clothes, books and other goodies to give to the children. On our side we gave them supermarket vouchers worth 150$ so that Esther and Steven could buy the kid’s some special meals for Christmas.

Evans did the delivery, but regretted that we didn’t get the gift vouchers blown up like on TV

American Xmas for the Kids

Christmas came early indeed for the Siloam’s kids. On the 20th of December, Suzan Tusson and Jim Mc Neil visited Siloam while on safari with African Latitude . They brought a lot of goodies for everyone: balloons, footballs, stationary, books. It included a digital camera for Steven so that he can now record the daily life of the Orphanage.

Oh and most important there was also a digital photo frame.

Thank you very much Suzan and Jim, you have put big smiles on these children’s faces.
